Prestigious award for Aston Art photographer Tim Wallace

Ambient Life photographer and long time Aston Workshop collaborator Tim Wallace has been announced as the winner of the Professional Advertising Photographer of the Year Award for 2010.

The Awards are held each year and attract entries from Professional Photographers all over the World and are broken down into individual categories such as Fashion, Product and Advertising. Tim had 4 entries submitted this year in the Advertising section and we were overjoyed to receive word this morning that Tim had won this section outright with a piece of work he shot earlier in the year featuring an Aston Martin Vantage.

Tim -"This is a fantastic honour and I can honestly say that given the high standard of work that was submitted to this category I was hoping that I would maybe get shortlisted but to win is just incredible. I feel very humbled and thankful that I work with such amazing people and clients that have the vision and open mindedness to allow me to be creative and project the World through my eyes. It is a wonderful end to 2010 and I look forward to what I hope will be another amazing year ahead as we enter 2011'.

This is a much deserved award and it’s great to see all of Tim’s hard work, dedication and talent recognised in this way. His work continues to go from strength to strength and we feel certain that this is sure to be the first of many such accolades that will come Tim’s way. Indeed he has already been the recipient of Hasselblad Photographer of the month Oct 2010, Professional Photographer of the Year 2009 and ‘Distinction Awards’ from professional bodies such as the RPS.

Tim has a fantastic reputation within the industry and his work is featured across the World, in 2010 he was showcased in the infamous 'Victor' Magazine, an industry Worldwide and highly acclaimed publication based in Germany. He also produces popular seminars outlining his methods for fellow photographers interested in improving their technique.

His work for Aston Workshop has been incredibly prolific over the years, not only photographing cars for sale, restoration projects and parts, but also producing the highly acclaimed and very collectible Aston Workshop calendars and all to the very highest standards.

We have many examples of his work available to purchase as high quality photographic prints on our exclusive Aston Martin art website: www.astonart.com
The site includes a number of ‘limited edition’ prints that are not only fantastic works of art that would enhance any room, but are sure to become more and more collectible as Tim’s reputation grows.
